It's Time to Write Your Memoir or
           Autobiography

** We Will Write It For You **

"You have a story to tell"
         It's a unique story -- you've lived it
No one else has your experiences or can look at things
quite the same way you do.

You may have your own reasons for writing your memoir but most people want to leave an imprint, a legacy of the road traveled.  A road with its many twists and turns, obstacles and triumphs. You need to create a map as these memories can pile up and scatter like scraps of letters or unsorted photos.

Your memoir is the map that tells:

  • Where you're coming from ...
  • How you got there ...
  • The different directions you've taken ...
  • Where you're heading and even the lessons you've learned.

Still wondering whether it's a good idea to write your memoir?
1.  Here are some more benefits:
  • It can be a catharsis. A healing. A fulfilling endeavor.
  • You form or increase the connection with whoever reads your story -- whether it's your children, grandchildren or complete strangers. They get the opportunity to know who you are.
  • You share your ideas and the lessons you have learned along the way to help others grow.
  • You contribute to your genealogy by preserving your history for future generations.
  • You contribute to the culture by documenting this period in time.

We all have read memoirs that begin with, "I was born in 1927 in Macon, Georgia, the 9th of 10 children."  While this makes for factual reading, it can become a yawn from the very first page.

When we write your memoir, we tease out your story and write it in a flowing narrative, in your own voice so it sounds just like you. We also talk to family and friends (if you wish) as well as research the history of what was going on at the time. The result is a compelling story to make you proud.

Many payment plans to afford your dream: 6-installments, 3-monthly payments or at various milestones. You choose.
2.   It's easy to get started right now:
  1. Contact us and tell us about your ideas and any other relevant information e.g. do you have a draft, outline, notes, or is it all in your head for us to unearth?
  2. We will e-mail you a preliminary quote based on #1.
  3. Once you email us your approval of the quote, we will send you our writing agreement stipulating your rights, deliverables, timeframe, exact fees, submission and payment schedules.
  4. Email us or call with any queries.
  5. After the agreement is signed, we will gather information from you (via your notes, journals, draft copy and recorded telephone interviews), and create a detailed chapter outline if you don't have one. We will complete the first trial submission (approximately 25 pages) which you will receive within four weeks.
Submissions and payments are usually divided into three parts: 25% /50% /25% at agreeable milestones or monthly payment.
